How we handle your information and photographs when you contact us.
This policy describes the use of personal information on the Hechura Suya Beauty by Gigi website and its Color Journey form. Reservations made through Square are also subject to that service's terms.
1. Business and contact

2. Information we collect
If you send a consultation, we collect your name, phone number, email address, service of interest, goals, hair history information and up to three optional photographs. We also record limited technical information about visits and clicks — such as page, language, referrer and a temporary session identifier — to understand site performance and prevent abuse. To limit automated requests, pseudonymous identifiers derived from connection signals are used.
3. How we use it
We use your information to assess your consultation, communicate with you, answer questions, coordinate services and protect the website. Consultations are visible to authorized personnel in Admin Studio. We do not need your consultation information to send unsolicited advertising, and we do not sell it.
4. Photographs and permission
Photos you attach to Color Journey are private and intended only to review your consultation. Uploading them does not authorize publication in galleries, social media, advertisements or promotional materials. Any public use requires separate authorization from the relevant person. Avoid including faces or other personal information when unnecessary.
5. Providers and external links
We use Cloudflare to host the site, maintain records in D1 and store images in R2. The booking button takes you to an external Square website; any information you enter there is handled under Square's policies and those of the business processing the booking. The site also requests fonts from Google Fonts and includes links to Instagram and Facebook. We do not sell personal information to these providers.
6. Retention and deletion
We retain inquiries and notes for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain the relationship history or meet legitimate obligations. Private photos from completed or archived consultations may become eligible for deletion according to Admin Studio retention settings, but current automatic cleanup runs only when R2 storage reaches the internal 3 GB threshold. Therefore, reaching an eligibility age does not guarantee automatic deletion on a particular date. Backups may retain copies until rotated. You may request review or deletion by contacting us.
7. Your requests
You can request access to, correction of or deletion of your information by email or phone. Before sharing or changing private information, we may verify your identity. We will handle requests under applicable law and may retain what is strictly necessary for legal obligations, security or dispute resolution.
8. Security
We use HTTPS connections, administrative authentication and access controls to limit exposure of consultations and photographs. No internet-connected system offers absolute security.
9. Minors
This form is intended for adults. When an inquiry involves a minor, it must be handled by their parent or authorized guardian. We do not intend to collect information directly from children under 13.
10. Updates
